The Olean Meditation Center is closed  to all activity between Sunday, March 22 through Sunday, May 3

SOULFUL EXPRESSIONS’ programs through May 30 will be postponed and rescheduled for later in the year. The following activities are also being postponed: Thursday meditation sessions, Kriya Yoga gatherings, Hindu Society gatherings, Compassion Friends meeting on March 25, and the Zen teaching scheduled for May 17.

“Our view is the socially responsible thing to do in response to the viral pandemic is to close the Center to all activity between Sunday, March 22nd and Sunday, May 3rd,” Richard Reilly, president, said.

“We regret needing to make this decision as it may negatively impact our Associates and their students in a variety of ways,” he said, adding the decision is being made in the best interest of all those whom the Center serves and supports.

In mid-April, the Center’s board will review the situation to see whether the Center might reopen on May 4th or whether it needs to extend closing beyond that date.
